Tools I Use

Solomia Kravetz

Solomia Kravetz

I love Solomia’s Warhol page, so I thought that I would check to see if she had some favorite tools mentioned on her site. She mentioned one, called Figma. I have never heard of it so I went to Figma’s website Figma.com. It looks like they are a tool like Git where multiple people can work on a project at the same time. I was looking around and the Figma site appears to be more gui than GitHub. It looks like an amusement park of a team platform.

Dennis Persson

I haven’t really found developers that I follow so I started on Code Pen to look for developers and their preferred tools. Jon Kantner’s eggs in a frying pan switch motivated me to look him up and see if he shared any tool advice. As it turns out, not really, but there was a link to DEV Community. DEV is a social media site for developers and I searched for tools on there. That search brought me to this chap who has a great article on free image tools. This sparked my interest because I am going to lose my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription soon. The article was written by Dennis Persson. Per Dennis, “My ambition is to provide people all around the world with free education and humorous reading.”

Sil van Diepen

I had never heard of this guy until today. I was scrolling through the Spark pages of Code Pen and came across his scrambling letters on hover. It’s a super cool effect. It prompted me to mosey over to his website and I found this tab “USES.” I am sure this is more of what you wanted.

Summary

All of the information that I found was useful, especially Dennis Persson’s article. I am going to keep CodePen bookmarked because it has a ton of information.
